Delicious Rolls
Scalded Mild, 1c
Sugar, ¾ c
Salt, 1T
Butter, ¾ c
Compressed yeast, 2 cakes
Lukewarm water, 1c
Eggs, 3, well beaten
Sifted flour, 6-7 c
Scald milk; add the sugar, salt, and butter, mixing thoroughly.  Soften the yeast in 1c lukewarm water.  When milk mixture has cooled to lukewarm, add the yeast.  Add beaten eggs and mix in enough flour to make a soft dough.  Place in greased bowl to rise until double in bulk.  Knead down, form into rolls and let rise until double in size.  Bake at 450o F. 15 to 20 minutes.  Yield: 2 dozen rolls.
